Original imagery
All photography, illustration, and other visual content on boisebugbombers.com that does not carry an attribution caption is original work owned by Boise Bug Bombers. Either produced in-house or generated for us under our editorial direction.
Each piece of original content is identified in our public image-credits manifest (/image-credits.md) with its source, generation date, and the responsible creator.
How originality is verified
- Photographs are taken on equipment owned by Boise Bug Bombers’ team and retain their original EXIF metadata where available.
- Generated illustrations are produced under our prompts and editorial direction through licensed generative-imagery providers; each generation is logged by request ID in our manifest.
- Any image whose provenance cannot be verified is not used on this site.
Licensing for reuse
If you’d like to license one of our original images (for example, a journalist citing one of our pest illustrations or a directory linking back to one of our city scenes), we license images on a case-by-case basis. The default terms:
- Editorial / nonprofit / educational use. Typically free with a credit link back to
boisebugbombers.com. - Commercial reuse. Fee-based; contact us for terms.
- Modification & redistribution. Not permitted without written permission.

Third-party imagery
When this site uses imagery licensed from a third party (for example, a CC-attribution photo from Wikimedia Commons or Flickr), the photographer’s name and the license URL are shown as a visible caption next to the image and recorded as the creditText and license fields in the page’s structured data. The terms of the relevant license, not these terms, govern that image.
Structured data
Every original image on this site emits schema.org/ImageObject metadata pointing back to this page, so that AI search engines and image-rich SERPs attribute the source correctly. The fields we publish are creditText, creator, copyrightNotice, license, and acquireLicensePage.
Reporting an attribution issue
If you believe an image on this site is being shown without proper attribution, please email [email protected] with the page URL and a description of the issue, and we’ll review within two business days.
